Jones was listed as a non-participant in workouts on both Tuesday and Wednesday for the Falcons, who have been limiting the Pro Bowler's practices throughout the season in order to keep him fresh for game action.
Despite his absences this week, coach Dan Quinn told reporters that Jones was still "on the right trajectory" to play for sixth-seeded Atlanta on Saturday when it visits the top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
Jones, who was listed with ankle and rib injuries last week, reeled in nine receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' 26-13 win over the Los Angeles Rams. He had 88 catches for 1,444 yards this season, marking the fourth straight campaign he amassed at least 1,400 receiving yards.
The 28-year-old Jones has gashed the Eagles during his career, recording 26 receptions for 428 yards and three touchdowns in four encounters.
