Falcons reinstate retired DT Eddie Goldman

The Atlanta Falcons reinstated defensive tackle Eddie Goldman from the reserve/retired list on Tuesday.

Goldman, 29, signed a one-year deal with Atlanta on July 6, 2022, but announced his retirement 13 days later.

Goldman has played six NFL seasons with the Chicago Bears (2015-19, 2021), sitting out 2020 amid the pandemic.

The 2015 second-round draft pick has 175 tackles, 13 sacks and two fumble recoveries in 81 games (73 starts).
