FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. The Atlanta Falcons are signing safety Jordan Fuller,according to a report from NFL Networks Tom Pelissero.
The 27-year-old comes to Atlanta from the Carolina Panthers but previously spent most of his five-year career with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams brought Fuller to Los Angeles with a sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he started all 12 games in which he appeared, making 60 tackles, five pass breakups and three interceptions. Fuller missed four games due to a shoulder injury that forced him to be inactive in Week 4 and on injured reserve from Weeks 6-9.
Fuller started every game in 2021 and worked under Falcons head coach Raheem Morris, who joined the Rams' staff as their defensive coordinator that offseason. That year, Fuller made 113 tackles, along with four pass breakups and an interception.
Fuller was back on injured reserve in 2022, this time due to a hamstring injury that cost him all but three games. Therefore, he only recorded 12 tackles that season. He did, however, force his first fumble.
Again, Fuller bounced back in 2023, starting every game. In his last year of his rookie contract, Fuller compiled perhaps his best full season of work. He had 94 tackles, which was lower than his personal best, but he also had eight pass breakups (a personal high), three interceptions (tied personal high) and three forced fumbles (a personal high).
Still, when Fuller became agent in 2024, the Carolina Panthers swooped in and signed him.
Last season, Fuller had 54 tackles, a pass breakup and a forced fumble in nine starts and appearances. His hamstring placed him on injured reserve again.
All this experience puts Fuller's resume at 333 tackles, 18 pass breakups, seven interceptions and five forced fumbles through 55 starts and 57 appearances.
Fuller joins the Falcons at a time when the secondary needs a running mate for starting safety Jessie Bates III. Last year's partner, Justin Simmons, became a free agent, with no reports so far of him coming back. DeMarcco Hellams is a rostered option, but it's unclear how the third-year player will bounce back from the ankle injury that kept him out all last season.
